This shoot with Camelia began as an intimate encounter, created by the two of us while searching for a visual language that would suit her goth style. Warm, cutting light, deep shadows and reflections from the gold fabric shape a scene suspended between elegance, tension and vulnerability.
For Kirigami, it was also one of his earliest personal explorations behind the camera: a study of the relationship between body, rope and light, followed from beginning to end without assistants.
