This notice explains how Kiri Nawa Kai APS handles enquiries about private Shibari and Kinbaku lessons and intensives offered through Rope Tales. The service is reserved for people aged 18 or over. Sending an enquiry does not confirm a booking or create a payment commitment.

What we collect and why
We collect the name, email address, international phone number, experience level, preferred teacher, participation arrangements, preferred dates and requested number of teaching hours you provide. We also record the form page, submission time and privacy acknowledgement. Technical services process connection information for delivery, security and spam prevention.
We use this information to answer your enquiry, discuss a suitable programme, check availability and prepare a possible booking. The legal basis for handling your enquiry and taking steps at your request before a contract is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We do not use your enquiry to infer your sexual orientation.
Required fields are marked with an asterisk. We need enough information to contact you and understand your request; you can also contact us directly by email. Please do not include medical information, intimate personal history, your partner’s contact details or other information about another person. Discuss any specific participation requirements privately with the teacher when arranging your lesson.
Access, storage and contact channels
Enquiries are delivered by email and stored in the website’s form database. Access is limited to authorised people handling lessons and the hosting, email and technical providers needed to operate the service. We use the email address and phone number you provide for individual follow-up about your request. If the conversation takes place through WhatsApp or Telegram, those services also process the communication under their own privacy terms. We do not add you to groups or subscribe you to a newsletter through this form.
Cloudflare Turnstile is used to protect the form against spam. Hosting, email, security and messaging providers may process information outside the European Economic Area; applicable transfers require an adequacy decision or other appropriate GDPR safeguards. You can request details about the providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry correspondence and form records for the time needed to answer your request, discuss arrangements and complete any follow-up you request. If you do not proceed, you may ask us to close and delete the enquiry. Information needed for a subsequent booking, accounting requirements or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims is retained for the applicable purpose and period. We do not use this form to keep you on a general marketing list.
Your rights
